Cordyceps militaris is often thought of as an athletic performance mushroom; it is said to improve ATP production (which helps with storage and supply of energy and is essential to many cellular activities) and improving oxygen use and respiration. But, it's not just an athlete's mushroom. Like most medicinal mushrooms, Cordyceps is immunomodulating and it's said to be anti-cancer/tumor, antiviral, and pro-libido!
