White Pine (Pinus strobus) is ridiculously good at drawing toxins and infections, splinters and foreign body. This salve can be used on open wounds as well as those actively healing. Combining needle infused olive oil and ethically/sustainably hand-harvested pitch, this salve is not only a wonderful first aid salve, but a fragrant stress-reducing balm for frayed nerves. This is seasonal limited-edition- once it's gone, it's gone. This is because the trees need their sap for their own healing. I only gather what is left after a tree has covered their own wounds, passively unless a tree is felled or otherwise suffers an incident which will kill them. In this way, I honor the life lost and never take what is not offered freely.
